Harlem Library

The Book Challenge for August is to read a book set in another time. Congratulations to Summer Reading grand prize winners: Pre-K -1st Grade: Azaylea Hawley; Grades 2-6: Mikaela Doney; Teens/Adults: Cheryl Stiffarm. The top readers were Pre-K-1st Grade: Evelyn Handran, 105 books and Grades 2-6: Breydon Hawley and Ozzy Baker, 1200 minutes. There is no library board meeting this month. The library has mobile hotspots available for check out.

Chinook Jr./Sr. High School

Attention Chinook Jr./Sr. High School Students and Parents. Mrs. Friede will be available in her office for class registration and/or questions on Aug. 18th & Aug 19th from 9-3. Limited availability also on Aug. 24th & 25th.

Blaine County Library

Story Walks Monday and Wednesday at the Library. Story Time at 10:30 Tuesdays on the grass in front of the Grande Villa. Beat the Heat Movie on Thursday will be Adventures in Zambezia at 12:30 and 2:30. Mobile Hotspots available for checkout.

Community Chest

The Community Chest fund drive for 2020 for the time being will be put on hold until COVID-19 is over, anyone wishing to make a donation that will be distributed among various youth activities can be mailed to: Community Chest, PO Box 39, Chinook, MT 59523

Cemetery Board

The Cemetery Board will be meeting again Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 1:30 int he ECC room in the Courthouse.

Blaine County Airport Commission

The AUGUST meeting for the Blaine County Airport Commission Board will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at the Edgar G. Airport Administration Building in Chinook

Harlem Yoked Parish

The Harlem Yoked Parish 50th Anniversary celebration scheduled for Sept. 20 has been canceled due to COVID-19 concerns.
