Kenneth Gruszie, Ty Beck add to our List of Successful Youth Hunters

November 18, 2020

Cleveland Elementary 6th grader Kenneth Gruszie harvested this nice Buck on the family ranch south of Chinook.

We are in the home stretch of the 2020 Big Game Hunting season and we are still happy to be reporting on successful hunts from our area youth.

This week we are happy to report the achievements of two Blaine County sixth graders, filling their tags with big bucks

Turner Elementary 6th grader Ty Beck took advantage of a 'snow day' and harvested his first Buck, Monday, November 9.

First we have Cleveland Elementary student, Kenneth Gruszie. 12 year old Kenneth harvested his big buck on the family ranch south of Chinook this past weekend.

Joining Kenneth on the hunt was a family friend Damon Almond, from Corvallis, MT. Kenneth used a 6.5mm Creedmoor on the hunt, "I had a blast, I'm looking forward to making jerky and doing it all again next year!" said Gruszie.

Ty Beck took full advantage of a 'snow day' to get away from Turner Elementary and hunt with his Dad, Shawn Beck on the Big Flat, Monday, November 9. Ty harvested a nice Mule Buck using his .223.

Congratulations to both Kenneth and Ty on their successful hunts!

The Blaine County Journal ~ News Opinion would love to hear about your successful hunt. The time is winding down in the 2020 season and we hope to share several more success stories. Please send a picture along with a little bit of information describing the hunt to bcjads@mtintouch.net
