'Beeters qualify 3 for State C Tournament in Bozeman

The Sugarbeeters qualified three for the Class C State Tournament May 18-19 at the Riverside Country Club in Bozeman. Senior Hailey Bell, junior Braden Eoff and senior Crystal Hofer all secured their spots on the field.

The Chinook Sugarbeeter boys and girls golf teams were in Great Falls this past Friday to compete in the Belt Invitational Golf Meet held at Anaconda Hills Golf Course.

The 'Beeter contingent turned in a fine effort with the Boys team finishing second in the team standings, while also qualifying three individuals for the State C Golf Tournament in Bozeman on May 18-19.

Seniors Crystal Hofer and Hailey Bell will again represent the 'Beeters at the State Meet. Hofer finished second on Saturday amongst the Class C girls with a solid round of 98. Bell finished tenth for the Class C girls with a score of 117. The qualifying standard for the girls is 120.

Junior Braden Eoff will head back to the State Tournament after signing his scorecard for a 99. Eoff finished sixth in the boys Class C standings. The boys qualifying standard is 100.

The boys team finished in a tie for second with a score of 327. In addition to Eoff's 99, the 'Beeters team score included senior Erik Pula (113) and senior Ethan MacLeod (115).

Senior Reese Elliot signed for a 117, junior Oskar Pula shot a score of 123 and senior Benton Elliot completed his 18 hole round with a 124.

Chinook sophomore Morgan Friede shot a 126 in the girls tournament, freshman Grace Ymzon scored a 128 and freshman Britton Elliot had a 158.
