Chinook junior Toby Niederegger clears 6'2" in the High Jump to win the event Saturday afternoon. Niederegger's mark leads all of Class C and has already qualified him for the State C Meet in Missoula later this month.
The Chinook Sugarbeeters, Harlem Wildcats, Hays/Lodge Pole Thunderbirds and Turner Tornadoes have done all they can to prepare for the post season, and the District Track & Field Meet is next on the schedule. The District 9c will be held in Havre on Wednesday, May 12 while the District 2B will be in Wolf Point on Saturday, May 15.
In their final tuneup the Sugarbeeters, Wildcats and Tornadoes were in Havre last Tuesday at the prestigious Cal Wearley Invitational. Saturday the Sugarbeeters were in Great Falls competing in the Fairfield/Belt Invitational with even more athletes.
