Town Clean Up In Small Community

May 12, 2021

3rd and 4th Clean Up Day: The third and fourth grades stop for a moment and smile for the camera. Keeping the town clean is important for everyone, including the kids. With all the wind the Big Flat has experienced lately, there was a fair share of garbage blown around the town. It looks so nice now. Thanks to a great group of kids and adults from the school Their efforts were much appreciated. Here are the 3rd and 4th graders L-R: SAvannah Heilig, Ppip[er Fox, Lucas Grabofsky, Colt Leitner, Hudson Simons, Alaina Egbert, Gracie Zellmer, and Harley Beck. In back is Mrs. Fox and Ms. Vukcevic.

The entire Turner School pulled together and held its annual Earth Day Clean Up. This event was sponsored by the School's National Honor Society. The NHS assigned certain areas for each grade level to clean up and the entire student body, faculty, and staff took to cleaning. Several small pickup loads were taken from around town and the dumpster areas. Many wonderful compliments were given from people around town for such a fine job!

Getting pictures was difficult as people were scattered, but here are a few from nearby the school.
