eet Abigail Grabofsky. She is a sixth grader in Mrs. Zellmer's classroom. She was displaying a poster and portraying Helen Keller. She did a good job of making her poster with important information regarding Helen Keller and did a great job of dressing the part of Helen Keller.

There was recently an Art Show held at the Turner School this past week. Among the exhibits were artwork from students Kindergarten through grade 12. Mrs. Fox had the exhibits displayed in the school cafeteria while many classrooms held displays from various projects throughout this last quarter of school. A reception was held for those attending the show and could enjoy being out and viewing the work of all the students. Mrs. Jorgenson, grades 7-8 Music teacher, had her class play their recorders to guests while other classrooms had Dioramas, career research displays, and Wax Museum. It was a great time and one that was not only appreciated but enjoyed!

Various photos were taken throughout the afternoon to show a smidgen of what the afternoon entailed. Thanks to Mrs. Fox for organizing the show and to all the teachers who organized various classroom displays.

Cooper Grabofsky displays a diorama that he prepared for the Classroom portion of the Art Show. Students in Grade One and Two read a favorite book and then made a diorama to portray a favorite scene. The students then made a poster to tell the title and author of the book. The students were under the direction of their teacher, Mrs. Diana Maloney. Cooper is a second grader and is the son of Crystal and Michael Grabofsky.
