Harlem Library

Take part in the programs at your library. Storytime for ages 0-5 is held each Tues. morning at 10 A.M. Elementary students are invited to After School Squad, which focuses on STEAM activities, each Wed. at 3:30 P.M. Lego Club for all ages meets Thurs. at 4:30. Preschool children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Book Club may pick up the new book “The Book of Secrets” Oct. 4-15. The first discussion is Oct. 18, 4 P.M. The Book Challenge for Oct. is to read a book with a weather theme. The library will be closed Oct. 11, Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

Harlem Food Bank

The Harlem Food Bank has been open for some time now and we are looking for clients to come and be served. We have plenty of food and are ready to give it to those in need. Thank you. Jack L. Siemens, Manager.

Bear Paw Cooperative

Hearing Screenings will take place in Bear Paw Cooperative member schools from August 23 through October 30, 2021. Children enrolled in kindergarten and first grade, and ninth or tenth grade will be screened. No other children will be screened without parental permission.

Bear Paw Cooperative

The Bear Paw Cooperative, through your local school district, assists in the provision of special education and related services to children with disabilities. Through a process called Child Find, your local school district accepts referrals, provides evaluations and special education for children ages 3-18 years if they qualify. The Blaine County 4-H Foundation Annual meeting will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 4 p.m. at the Triple E room in Chinook, Montana
