“Billy Summers” is Stephen King’s latest novel. Billy Summers is a killer for hire, the best in the business, and he only carries out the job on targets who truly deserve it. Now he wants out, but not until he completes one last job. What could go wrong? How about everything.

Ash Davidson is the author of “Damnation Spring.” Rich Gunderson’s family has made a living chopping the redwood forest on California’s coast for generations. Now that he has a son of his own, Rich wants a more secure future. So he uses all their savings, without telling his wife Colleen, and buys 24-7 Ridge. But the hopes to expand their family isn’t happening as Colleen suffers several miscarriages. Could the herbicide used by logging companies be the cause of the many miscarriages as well as the salmon vanishing from the creeks?

Three new psychological thrillers include “The Stranger in the Mirror” by Liv Constantine, “Not a Happy Family” by Shari Lapena, and “Dream Girl” by Laura Lippman.

“Into the Forest” by Rebecca Frankel is a true Holocaust story of survival, triumph and love.
