The Turner School held a Veteran's Day celebration on the playground at their school on Veterans Day 2021. Many local Veterans came for the program and were socially distanced in their cars on the edge of the playground. The group recited the Pledge and then a short reading was read by Laci Maloney, Student Council President. The First and Second Grade sang, "God Bless America." All the students in the school made posters and held them for the Veterans who paraded near the school. Some of the students shared their posters by giving them to the Veterans.
