The Big Sandy Rotary Club is continuing the tradition of a benefit banquet in March with a grand gala event bringing Pirates of the Prairie to our town. Pirates of all kinds will gather at the 37th Annual Rotary Benefit Banquet on March 19, 2022. The annual Big Sandy Rotary benefit banquet will be the place to join the community in an evening of fun, great food, auctions and prizes. Your local Rotarians will soon have their tickets available for anyone who wants to purchase one. Tickets are still $100.00, which is the same price they were when the banquet started in 1984. The purchase of a ticket gives you and a companion a delicious prime rib dinner and an evening of fun and entertainment. The entertainment this year will be provided by local students as well as Prairie Pirates dressed for swashbuckling their way across the wide-open spaces. In addition to a great meal each ticket represents a chance to win the big prize of $3,000.00 along with the many other prizes that are given throughout the evening. There will be raffle ticket drawings, silent auctions, costume contests and lots of other fun for all who attend. Tickets will be available soon.
The Big Sandy Rotary Club has been a part of the community for many years and is a vital part of our community. The Annual Benefit Banquet is one of the main sources of funds for all the projects the Big Sandy Rotary Club undertakes each year. The purchase of a ticket and participation in the evenings activities at the banquet ensures everyone the opportunity to be a part of the vital community service that your Rotary Club brings to Big Sandy.
