Local Chapter Celebrates National FFA Week

This cow was spotted working on a computer in Chinook Junior/Senior High School on February 24. Behind the bovine mask was Kenneth Gruszie, an FFA member who took part in Farm Animals Day during National FFA Week festivities.

From February 19-26, FFA Chapters across the nation celebrated National FFA Week. National FFA Week is a time to showcase what FFA is and the impact it has on members every day. The Chinook Chapter of the FFA took part in the celebration with Dress-Up Days, FFA Fact of the Day, and a membership drive.

On Monday, Chinook High School students were invited to wear flannel or camouflage gear, Tuesday was Blue and Gold Day, Wednesday welcomed the wearing of overalls and suspenders in a tribute to farmers and ranchers with a Cowboy Up/Wrangler Day, and Thursday was designated Farm Animals Day. A...
