Blaine County Library

April 20, 2022

The Blaine County Library Board of Trustees will hold their regular monthly meeting Monday April 25th at 4:30 p.m. in the library meeting room.

April is National Poetry Month. We have a display of poetry books available to check out. The main book display for April is gardening books to help inspire us as we prepare for Spring and Summer.

Letty Davenport, the brilliant and tenacious adopted daughter of Lucas Davenport, takes the investigative reins in "The Investigator" by John Sandford. In the dead of the night, madness lies. Emma can't sleep,

it's been like this since her big 4-0 started getting closer. Her mother stopped sleeping just before her own fortieth birthday. She went mad and did the unthinkable because of it. Is that what's happening to Emma? "Insomnia" is a gripping thriller by Sarah Pinborough. "Those Who are Saved" by Alexis Landau is a heartbreaking World War II novel of one mother's impossible choice, and her search for her daughter against the odds. "Four Treasures of the Sky" by Jenny Tinghui Zhang is a dazzling debut novel set against the backdrop of the Chinese Exclusion Act, about a Chinese girl fighting to claim her place in the 1880s American West. Spider-Man No Way Home is a new movie available this week.

We have a large selection of hard back and paperback books, fiction and non-fiction, adult, YA, and juvenile, as well as DVDs and audiobooks for sale. Fill a bag with as many used books as you can for $3.00.
