On 04/13/2022 Blaine County Deputies were made aware of a sexual assault complaint on a minor. The minor alleged that a sexual relationship had begun and progressed in the Harlem High School with Jack G. Young, one of her teachers. Blaine County Deputies began an investigation in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Montana Department of Criminal Investigation.
When ample evidence had been gathered, Deputies applied for and were granted a search warrant on the residence of Jack G. Young. On 04-22-2022 at approximately 9:46 PM the Blaine County Sheriff's Office, FBI, and DCI executed a search of Young's residence. Young was mirandized and interviewed on scene. Upon completion of the search Jack G. Young was arrested for 45-5-625 Sexual Abuse of Children, 45-5-504 Indecent Exposure, 45-5-502 Sexual Assault, and 45-5-503 Sexual Intercourse Without Consent. Young was then transported to the Valley County Detention Center.
The investigation is ongoing, and charges are expected to be filed later this week in Montana District Court.
