Where Cultural Diversity and Creativity Meet

Four members of the Independent Harlem Poetry Club: Jessica King (junior), Nellie Rose King (junior), Tova Anderson (sophomore), and Caly Adams (sophomore) will attend the inaugural Santa Fe Literary Festival on May 20-23.

Four Harlem High School (HHS) students and two adult chaperones will be travelling to New Mexico next month to attend the inaugural Santa Fe Literary Festival (SFLF). The trip is being sponsored by both the Nakoda and Aaniih tribes as well as the Tiwahe organization.

Santa Fe, which calls itself "a maverick city at the edge of the Southern Rockies," has gained notoriety as a crossroads where cultural diversity and creativity meet.
