We've Got The County Covered

Blaine County Library

The Blaine County Library will be closed Monday December 26th in observance of Christmas and Monday January 2nd in observance of New Year’s Day. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We would like to thank everyone who came to our Hassle-Free Christmas. It was great to see a nice turnout and support for our local vendors. Thank you to the vendors who were set up in the meeting room and the Senior Center and to the Blaine County Library Board members for preparing and serving food. A special thanks to Ben and Patty Hall for all the help setting up and cleaning up the meeting room and Senior Center. Lois Butcher and Jill Paulsen were the winners of our door prizes.

We have several non-fiction books available this week. “The Art of the Board” by Olivia Carney has fun & fancy snack boards, with recipes and ideas for entertaining all year. “The Read aloud Factor” by Rekha Rajan, EdD guides the reader to create the habit that boosts your baby’s brain. In “The Light We Carry” by Michelle Obama, she shares practical wisdom and powerful strategies for staying hopeful and balanced in today’s highly uncertain world.

We have three thrillers ready to go. “The Twist of a Knife” by Anthony Horowitz is book 4 in the Hawthorne and Horowitz mystery series. “Racing the Light” by Robert Crais is an Elvis Cole and Joe Pike novel. “Murder at Black Oaks” by Phillip Margolin is a Robin Lockwood novel.
