'Cats Head to 2B Tourney

The Harlem Wildcats will head to the District 2B Tournament in Glasgow as the No. 5 seed after finishing the regular season with a 1-7 conference mark and an overall record of 2-16.
The Wildcats will begin play this Thursday at 3:00 pm against the No. 4 seed Glasgow Scotties. The teams split their regular season meetings with each winning on their home court.
Harlem defeated Glasgow with a pair of free throws late 51-50 back on January 13. The Scotties won in Glasgow this past Saturday by a score of 69-45.
The winner will move on to face the Wolf Point Wolves in a 1:00 pm contest Friday afternoon. The loser will have to wait to see who their next opponent will be. That game will take place Friday night at 6:00pm.
The Wolf Point Wolves enter the District 2B tournament as the No. 1 Seed. Wolf Point finished a perfect 8-0 in Conference play and with an overall record of 16-2.
The Malta Mustangs will be the District 2B No. 2 Seed after finish with a 6-2 conference record and an overall mark of 13-5. The Mustangs will begin their tournament against the No. 3 Seed Poplar Indians Thursday night at 6:30 pm.
The top four teams from the District 2B Tournament will advance to the Northern B Divisional in Shelby, March 2-4.
