Deborah Louise Vialpando-Gone

Deborah Louise Vialpando-Gone, 64 began her journey to the other side on March 14th, after a long fight with kidney disease. A viewing was held on Thursday March 16th at Wilderness Funeral Home followed by cremation. Funeral services will be held at the Fort Belknap Community Center on Friday March 17th followed by a burial at Harlem Cemetery.

Debbie was born on March 2, 1959 in Pueblo, Colorado to John Gilbert Vialpando and Gloria Rhodes. She was raised in Avondale, Colorado for most of her young life with her parents, two brothers Lou and Jerry, and sister Lisa. Debbie grew up playing baseball and softball with her family in the fields behind her house. She continued this passion into her 40's. She graduated from Pueblo County High School in 1977. After high school, Debbie attended Adams State University where she graduated with a degree in Speech Pathology in 1982. She lived briefly in Las Animas before moving to Harlem, Montana to work at the Bear Paw Co-op in 1983.

Debbie's first daughter, Brianne, was born in 1985. In 1986, she married the love of her life, Raymond. The family moved to Riverton, Wyoming in 1988. Debbie worked at Saint Stephens Elementary while living there. While in WY, they had another daughter, Sarah, in 1989. They moved back to Harlem in 1993 where Debbie continued to work for the Bear Paw Co-op. Debbie's co-workers became like family. Debbie continued to work for the Co-op until her retirement in 2022.

Debbie was passionate about her work and loved her students. She made a huge impact on so many young lives and her students loved visiting "Ms. Debbie." She was beginning to teach her 3rd generation of families. Debbie was an avid Griz, Broncos, and Yankees fan and loved to attend games with her husband. They also enjoyed going to as many concerts as possible.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond D. Gone; daughter Brianne Vialpando- Gone Hawley; father Gilbert Vialpando; brother Lou Vialpano; paternal grandparents Eugene and Delma Vialpando; maternal grandparents Charles and Mary Madrid.

Debbie is survived by her daughter Sarah Gone; grandchildren Peyton Hawley, Aidan Harkins and Cadence Harkins; mother Gloria (Ivan) Rhodes; brother Jerry Vialpando; sister Lisa (Mike) Lichtwardt; nephews Tony Rider, Michael Rider, Ronald "Dean" Mocassin III, Raymond J. Gone, Justin (Evelyn) Vialpando; nieces Veronica Mocassin and Maggie Vialpando; sister-in-law

Marilyn Gone; God children Zachary Maratita and Stephon Enemy Hunter and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
