“All Together Now” is the summer reading theme! Let’s all work together to keep reading over the summer. Children are invited to come to the library to register for summer reading. They may earn prizes for books or minutes read and chances to win grand prizes at the end of summer reading.

Children are also invited to weekly summer reading programs. Little ones ages 0-5 along with their parents/caregivers are invited to Storytime on Tuesday mornings at 10 A.M. Elementary age students are welcome to Summer STEAM which focuses on science, technology, engineering, art and math held on Wednesdays at 1 P.M. Lego Club for all ages is held on Thursdays at 3:30.

Teens and adults may also participate in summer reading. For every book you read or listen to your name will be entered to win a $50 gift card at the end of summer reading.

The June Book Challenge is to read a book that celebrates friendship. If you have completed the May Book Challenge make sure you notify the library.

We are happy to announce that Blaine County is an affiliate of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Children ages zero to five are eligible to be registered. Parents, grandparents, and family friends are invited to complete the registration form in person or online through the Harlem Public Library or Blaine County Library. Each month a new book will be mailed to the child at their home. There is no cost or obligation as this program is sponsored by the Treasure State Foundation established by First Lady Susan Gianforte and The Dollywood Foundation.

The new C.J. Box Joe Pickett novel is “Storm Watch.” Pickett discovers a frozen and mutilated body of a man who has trespassed on a private ranch located near a mysterious high-tech structure. His ID indicates he is a prominent University of Wyoming professor. Joe’s investigation is obstructed at all turns.

“The Watchmaker’s Daughter” is the true story of WWII heroine, Corrie Ten Boom, by Larry Loftis. This biography tells how Corrie and her family help to save the lives of hundreds of Jews from the Nazis and the price the Ten Booms had to pay.

“At Sea” is written by Emma Fedor. How far will Cara go to find her first love when he betrays her and disappears with their only child?

Peter Swanson is the author of “The Kind Worth Saving.” Private eye Henry Kimball starts to follow a possibly adulterous husband, but little does he know that the twisted trail will lead back to the woman who hired him.

Other new titles include “Good Dog, Bad Cop” by David Rosenfelt, “Fields of Bounty, the third book in Leah’s Garden series by Lauraine Snelling, and “Judas 62” by Charles Cumming.
