At the lake, in the camper, in your easy chair, on the tractor, or driving down the highway…audio books and ebooks are available for free through your state library on MontanaLibrary2Go. Of course, don’t miss the great titles ready for check out at your local library. “The Devil You Know” is by P. J. Tracy. LAPD detective Margaret Nolan investigates the death of beloved actor Evan Hobbes. He is found in the rubble of a Malibu rockslide the day after a fake video ruins his career. Is it an accident, suicide, or murder?

John Newman is the author of “Buffalo Dreamers.” Sam Comstock has PTSD after his service in Iraq. The need to find a way to heal leads him to Montana on a mission to help manage an infamous wildlife challenge: killing migratory buffalo outside of Yellowstone Park who are presumed to carry in infectious disease for cattle. This places him in the middle of conflicts between a band of Indians determined to save the buffalo, law enforcement, and the cattle industry.

A pair of red six-inch heels once belonged to Nisha Cantor, but they were accidentally taken by Sam Kemp at the gym. New nonfiction titles include “Safe All Along: Trading Our Fears and Anxieties for God’s Unshakable Peace” by Katie Davis Majors, “A Young Man of Montana: From Hard Youth to Hawaii Mule-skinner,” the story of Irvin Atchison by Daniel T. Miller, and “The Angel Makers: Arsenic, A Midwife, and Modern History’s Most Astonishing Murder Ring” by Patti McCracken.

The Book Challenge for June is to read a book that celebrates friendship.

Children are still encouraged to register to participate in Summer Reading. Prizes are awarded for books/minutes read with chances to win the grand prizes at the end of the July. Weekly programs include Storytime for children ages 0-5 and their parents/caregivers on Tuesdays at 10 A.M.

Elementary students are invited to Summer STEAM on Wednesdays at 1 P.M. Lego Club for all ages meets on Thursdays at 3:30.

Teens and adults will be entered to win a $50 gift card for every book they read/listen to. Notify the library when you finish a book.
