Blaine County Library

August 9, 2023

It’s time again to send a shout out to community members who’ve made donations to the library. A big thank you to: John Clay, Sherrie Harold, Wilma Mellville, Tanis Ross, the Davies Family, Karen Pike, Steve and Sherry Edwards, Kylie and Tyler Kropf, Nancy Birnell, Pat and Donna Murdy, Town Pump Foundation, Helen Bucklin, Shirley MacKenzie, Colleen Overcast, Betty and Duane Tilleman, Kay Johnson, Mary DePriest, and Hallie Neibauer. Also thank you to the anonymous couple who donated cash to use for a fundraiser. We thank you all for your generous donations to the library and we appreciate your continued support.

Even though our Summer Reading Program is over, a few programs will continue into August. Story Time will continue through August. We will do Beat the Heat Movies on Wednesday August 9th, and 16th. Teen Scene will be held August 9th and 23rd. All other programs will start again in September.

We are pleased to announce that Blaine County Library is participating in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library program. Children from 0-5 years old are eligible. Only a small portion of eligible children in Blaine County are currently receiving books through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. We have forms available in the library to register a child or you can register them on-line at http://www.imaginationlibrary.com/checkavailability. Once a child is registered, they will receive a free book in the mail in approximately 6-8 weeks.

We have lots of things on the schedule for next month. Fall programs will start in September and we will be changing some things up, so stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
