We've Got The County Covered

Chinook Senior Center

Hello From the Chinook Social Senior Center!

We have had another wonderful week, here. If you haven’t joined us, you should!

We had a very full house this past Saturday, Sept. 2nd for the Celebration of Life for Mitzi Bruss. You could certainly tell that she was very well loved. How nice to see all of these fine people come in & share memories with her children.

We have put out a Facebook challenge to all area ranchers who might consider donating 50 pounds of beef to our non-profit Senior Center. The rising cost of food has been somewhat of a challenge. I have personally donated 50 pounds & would love to see what our community members, neighbors & friends might be able to do, as well. We are blessed to live in this community & to know so many kind, generous people. I have already had 2 calls letting me know that they will meet my challenge. Hooray, Blaine County ranchers!

We did raise all of our suggested donation prices of our meals this past Friday, September 1st to $7.00 per meal to offset some of these rising costs.

Our Cornhole league will begin on Mon. Sept 18th from 1:00-3:00.

We still have our Tues., Yoga Class @ 10:00, Cribbage @ 1:00. Thurs., @ 1:00 is Bingo. We will be changing this to .25 cents per card. Our band plays each Fri. from 10:00-2:00.

Please call on Wed., for Caramel Rolls to be picked up after 7:00 a.m. on Thursdays.

BLESSING FOR THE WEEK!
