Hello From the Chinook Senior Center We celebrated our previous, outgoing board members by hosting a potluck picnic for them on Saturday, July 25th @ Beaver Creek Park. We know that they will visit often, as this is the best food in town, (all cooked from scratch) and at an absurdly low cost of $8.00 per meal for age 60 & over. $10.00 for age 60 and under. Hello From the Chinook Senior Center Our Annual Meeting of the Chinook Area Senior Center was held on 7-14-26 @ 11:00. We had a nice number of people in attendance. We have elected 3 new officers, as Roxanne Townsend (Chair), Rich Stuker (Vice Chair), Secretary (Val Frank) have all resigned their positions, effective today. These people were constant, positive figures within our Senior Center community and we truly hate to see them go, however we do so with thankfulness for the time that they have served and the value that they have brought....

On Friday, June 19th our wonderful Chinook Senior Center hosted our 2nd Annual Senior Swing Golf Thing, which was another huge success! We had the most beautiful weather, and our course was sprayed for no mosquitoes, thanks to our fabulous greenskeeper, Mike Seymour. Hello From the Chinook Senior Center The days certainly are getting shorter! The trees will soon show all of their splendor, as the sunlight is shorter in duration. There are already bits of gold hues showing up in the cottonwoods. Autumn is such a beautiful time, so take it all in, before the colorful leaves all fall. We originally had these scheduled on Wednesdays, however, we were “Hi-Jacked” by the Pinochle Marathon players, so for now, we are still Tuesdays. We normally begin our movie immediately after lunch.
