Harlem Library

Upcoming programs at the library include: The Book Club will meet Sept. 25, 4 P.M. You may pick up the book “The Measure” by Nikki Erlick this week. “Bison Archaeology in Glacier National Park” with speaker Kyle Langley will be presented virtually Sept. 25, 6 – 7:30 P.M. Register at tinyurl.com/GNPbisonMT. You may join on your own device or come to the watch party at the library. The program “Introduction to Beekeeping” will be presented by MSU Extension Oct. 3, 2 – 5 P.M. Please RSVP at 406-353-2712 by Sept. 28. The Book Challenge for Sept. is to read book with a number in the title. The library board of trustees will meet Sept. 27, 4:30 P.M.

Bear Paw Cooperative

The Bear Paw Cooperative, through your local school district, assists in the provision of special education and related services to children with disabilities. Through a process called Child Find, your local school district accepts referrals, provides evaluations and special education for children ages 3-21 years if they qualify. Please contact your local school district or the Bear Paw Cooperative at 406-357-2269.

Harlem Food Bank

The Harlem Food Bank is beginning their Annual Drive for Funds. The Town Pump has offered to match up to $2500.00 if we can raise that much. We have always been successful in the past and hope to be again this year. The ending date is October 31, 2023. Thank you to everyone who chooses to participate.

Blaine County Planning Board

The Blaine County Planning Board meeting is Tuesday, September 26th at 7:00 p.m. in the Blaine County Courthouse Basement.

Chinook Senior Center

The Chinook Senior Center Board will host a birthday party for all Senior people whose birthdays are in September. The party will be the last Friday of the month. September 29th at 12 noon. Call Ben Hall at 406-357-3277 or Senior Center 406-357-2648 by Wednesday September 27th for a place at the table.

Cemetery Board

The next cemetery board meeting will be on Monday, September 25th at 1:30 in the EOC meeting room.
