Take your hearty appetite to the Wallner Hall for Pool and Park Soup Fundraiser from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. or stop in the Eagles any time from 11 to closing for tacos. Need more options? Starting at 5 p.m., head over to the Bear Paw Saloon for Pork on the stick, cookies and hot cocoa. And don’t forget to stop in the Chinook Pharmacy and Prairie Pieces for a hot beverage.
Those looking to catch the holiday spirit should consider visiting First Bank from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. to enjoy the Bell Choir. And everyone, young and old, especially those not on the naughty list, are encouraged to head out to the Senior Center from 1-4 to visit Santa.
Just before 6 p.m. it’ll be time to line the streets to enjoy the parade which will include entries from many local businesses, including historical favorites. Following the parade, the Chinook Alliance Church will host a Christmas program, along with cookies and hot chocolate.
The Chinook Parade of Lights and Festival of Wreaths has become a staple for families across the highline and beyond who continue to value friendship and community. Organized by the Chinook Chamber of Commerce, this event is a premier opportunity to showcase the small businesses, kindness and generosity of our community. We look forward to seeing you there!
