STUDENTS COMPETE IN COLORING CONTEST

The second and third grade students participated in a coloring contest sponsored by the Blaine County Health Department earlier this Fall. The contest was geared to raise awareness of Mental illness. The younger children of Blaine County were asked to color a picture that was selected by Blaine Co. Health Dept. This particular picture that they colored was drawn by a winner from a drawing contest in upper grades the year before, so this was a special drawing to color. In second grade, the student from Turner School who was selected by B.C.H.D., was Elias Jones. Elias is the son of Kristin and Andrew Jones. The third grade winner of the coloring contest was Lucy Grabofsky. Lucy is the daughter of Crystal and Mike Grabofsky. Both children are students in Mrs. Diana Maloney’s second and third grade classroom.
