Tornadoes Blast Fort Benton and Fall to Box Elder

The Turner boys' basketball team was back in action this past Friday and Saturday, hoping to get the year started on a positive note. On Friday, the boys were in Box Elder to challenge Box Elder in a district 9C clash. The Bears took an early lead and never looked back, taking down the Tornadoes 87-69. Saturday, the Tornadoes hosted the Fort Benton Longhorns and played solid basketball for 32 minutes. Turner built a small lead early and continued to build on it for the rest of the contest, defeating Fort Benton 71-54.
