Hello From the Chinook Social Senior Center!
We have had the most wonderful week! We have had a Diamond Dotz class conducted by Barb Ranstrom. Lots of people came and learned this super fun craft. I certainly enjoyed it, as well.
Thank you, Barb, for spending your time and talents with us. We appreciate you!
We also hosted several Pinochle Marathon classes this past week. Many people came and enjoyed each other’s company for this fun event. There are still several weeks of this happening. If you are a participant in the Marathon & have not yet scheduled to play the other 8 teams, please remember that you are able to host them here, at the Center, but PLEASE call in advance. There are a total of 9 teams playing, so this means that you need to play each team twice, before April 30th. This date is fast approaching, so get them all scheduled, please.
We are still enjoying our painting classes with Jack Brandon each Wednesday, that the weather and roads allow for Jack to travel to Chinook. These are held @ 1:00. These are also fun and are attended by many people who are discovering that they have hidden talent.
We are hosting Rod Benson, Wed., Feb. 7th @ 5:30 p.m. (the 4th in the Speaker Series), in partnership with Sam French, Director of the Blaine County Museum. Please note this time change! We will be hosting with Charcuterie boards as well as beverages. Please come & learn about the geology within Blaine County!
We will also be having our first Paint by Number class on Tues., Feb. 6th @ 1:00! Please call and let us know that you would like to join us!
We have still been unable to reschedule the Foot Clinic, due to the nurse leaving her employment with A Plus Healthcare. We still have our previous schedule & will contact you as soon as we are able to reschedule.
