March is National Nutrition Month. Come and check out the informative books we have on display.

The Book Challenge for March is to read a book about siblings. You may win a gift certificate from a local business.

Rod Benson, Harlem High graduate, will present the program “The Geology of Blaine County” March 21, 6:30 P.M. in the library meeting room.

Benson lives in Helena and teaches high school science in Hays. He is currently in his 42nd and final year of teaching. He has learned as much as he can about the geology of north central Montana, and he has hiked many miles, exploring and photographing our beautiful landscape. He will share many of these photos during his presentation as well as explaining how oceans, volcanic activity, and ice ages shaped the Blaine County area. Please join us!

The Book Club is currently reading “Ordinary Grace” by William Kent Krueger. We meet on Mondays at 4 P.M. for discussion.

During the month of March you may “Buy a Bag O’Books!” Fill a grocery sack full of used books from the Reading Room for only one dollar.

The library has many services to offer. Some of these include free notary services, scanning, faxing and photo copying, interlibrary loan, free wi-fi and many more.

This week we are featuring award winning children’s books. The Newbery Medal winner is “The Eyes & the Impossible” by Dave Eggers.
