Chinook sends 10 to Academic Olympics

The High School Academic Olympics took place on March 20th at Glasgow High School. Chinook competed in the Class 1 section against teams from Sidney, Plentywood, Glasgow, Fairview, Malta, and Wolf Point for a total of 70 students. Chinook advisor, and math teacher, Gerald Llante, took 10 students to represent Chinook High School; Quentin Edwards, Aislinn Handy, Hallie Neibauer, Alexus Seymour, Mekayla Brown, Carson Kelly, Bailey Billmayer, Ayden Alisch, Carter Alisch, and Walter Schoen. Three students finished in the top 10 of their respective categories. Carson Kelly placed 10th in English and 4th in Science, Quentin Edwards finished 10th in Math and Ayden took 7th place in Social Studies. Jr. High advisor, Stella Llante, will be taking the Jr. High team on April 10th.
