Tonight is the Friends of the Library Wine and Cheese fundraiser “Karolee’s Kandy Kane Kristmas” from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the library. The library is closed today in preparation for the event.

There will be no After School Squad today.

The Book Challenge for December is to read a book published in 2024. If you have completed November’s Book Challenge, please notify the library.

Thanks to everyone who loaned a star quilt to display during the month of November, Native American Heritage Month. Also thanks to Jeremy and Denton who so kindly hung and took down the quilts.

It is time to get into the holiday spirit with a selection from the holiday book tree. New titles this year include “A Merry Little Murder Plot: A Library Lover’s Mystery” by Jenn McKinlay, “Evergreen Christmas” by Janet Dailey, and “Everyone This Christmas Has a Secret: A Festive Mystery” by Benjamin Stevenson.

Jonathan and Jesse Kellerman have co-authored “The Lost Coast.” Clay Edison has set up shop as a private P.I. after losing his job at the coroner’s office. A young man, tasked with managing his grandmother’s estate, hires Clay to examine some financial discrepancies. A new nonfiction selection is “Imminent: Inside the Pentagon’s Hunt for UFOs” by Luis Elizondo. The former head of the Pentagon program responsible for the investigation of UFOs, now known as unidentified anomalous phenomena, reveals long-hidden truths with profound implications for not only national security but also our understanding of the universe.

“No One Will Know” is written by Rose Carlyle.
