Angry Eyes

You’re so right for each other,

why can’t you get along?

Designed to be together,

yet you do each other wrong.

Let go of your pride,

it’s been tearing you apart!

You should step up the forgiveness

or you’ll both have broken hearts!

Look at what you’re doing—

is it worth the fight?

Don’t use your words as weapons

unless the reason’s right.

Open up your eyes.

Find the reason for the pain.

Face it, embrace it,

name it so it’s plain.

Forget about what’s useless—

don’t even waste your breath.

Silent treatment, angry eyes,

will drag love to its death.

Wake up wounded lovers!
