2 Blaine County Students Awarded Elks Scholarship

Havre Elks Lodge #1201 recently awarded 6 scholarships to local graduating high school seniors.

Lodge Scholarship Co-Chair Brandy Kurtz announced that recipients of this year’s local Elks Most Valuable Student Awards were:

• Izabelle Baker — Harlem High School;

• Dentin Depriest and Brockton Elliot — Chinook High School;

• Colter Solomon and Callie Bebee — Havre High School

• Madelyn Myers – Northstar High School

The six local MVS winners were advanced to the Montana State Elks Association competition and out of the 133 statewide applicants.
