Linda Rae Warburton

Our Beloved, Linda Rae Warburton -” Known as Rose Lady”, age 73, of Chinook & Havre, MT, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025 from complications after a short battle w/ lung cancer, in her home in Havre.

Linda was born on 8/31/1951 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Havre, MT to Gregory and Elaine Henderson. Linda attended school in Warrick, Zurich and Chinook High School.

In 1971, Linda met the love of her life, John Warburton at 4 B’s in Havre, MT. On April 29, 1972, she and John were married and began their lives together and went on to become parents to Steve (Patricia) Warburton, Susan Warburton, Sherry (Scott) Kaul and Shane (Danielle) Warburton. Linda and John were blessed with 53 loving years together, 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Linda was a lover of family, flowers and friends. She served the community for most of her life, whether it was working at a variety of department stores as a customer service person, bartending, or walking through town selling roses on the weekends, Linda loved the people of Havre and beyond and claimed many people as her family and in turn, many people she met called her Grandma Linda.

Linda is proceeded in death by her parents, Gregory(Buck) & Elaine Henderson, in-laws – Wallace & Blanche Warburton, her sibling’s, Rita, Cathy, Greg Jr, Jim, Sarah & Mary, and daughter in law – Mary Zillaine Warburton, granddaughter-Courtney Taylor and many others who we are certain have greeted her alongside of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Linda is survived by her siblings, Sharon Martin, Carol Slugget, Jerry Henderson & Cindy Henderson. Her children – Steve & Patricia Warburton, Susan Warburton, Sherry & Scott Kaul and Shane & Danielle Warburton. Grandchildren – KaelaRae Warburton, Robin Bauer, Chealsey & Nate Riley, Amber & Brandon Brotnov, Kylee & Billy Minnis, Keaton & Raelee Kaul, Allyson Kaul, Ireland & Jared Moore, Jade & Kaleb Cardinal, Bailey Warburton, Jolie Coyne, Madyson Warburton & Cash Warburton. Great Grandchildren – Jayla & Addie Dalrymple, Chloe & Carson Loepker, Adrianna, Jayleigh, Kayden, Jayson & Jordyn Riley, Austin, Brent, Brock, Aaron & Andi Brotnov, Landon & Haydon Minnis. Last, but definitely not least, her Chihuahua / Pomeranian fur baby, Ginger Snap.

Memorial donations can be made to American Cancer Society in her name.

A Celebration of Linda’s life / Pot Luck will be held at Zurich Park on June 7@ 4pm. In memory of Linda’s celebration of 36 years of sobriety, we ask that NO alcohol be present.
