Shelby Edward (Ed) Smith

Shelby Edward (Ed) Smith passed away December 29, 2024, in Havre, Montana.

Ed was born on October 28, 1959, at Fort Ord California to Henry A Smith, Jr and Amy Belle (Kelley) Smith.

He was preceded in death by his father Henry A Smith, Jr and his brother Fredrick A Smith. His paternal grandparents Henry A Smith, Sr and Bessie May Smith. His maternal grandparents Marion F and June Amy Kelley.

He is survived by his common law wife Jodi Teske of Havre. His sons, Timothy Smith (Shalonn) of Spokane, Washington; Daniel Smith (Sharlie) of Havre and Joseph Smith (Sarah) of Williston, North Dakota. Stepsons: Lex Keller (Megan) and Dillon Newbury (Mariah) of Havre. His mother Amy Belle Smith of Chinook. Sisters: Rebecca Shaffer (Virgil) of Casper, Wyoming and Betty Jean Phifer of Havre. Also 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Creamation has taken place and Ed will be laid to rest with his father and brother in a private ceremony at a later date.
