Help Keep the Blood Supply Strong This Summer

Summer brings sunshine, vacations, and more time on the road—but it also brings an increased need for blood donations. According to the American Red Cross, AAA calls this stretch the “100 Deadliest Days” due to a rise in auto accidents. In emergencies, hospitals rely on lifesaving blood products, and in the most critical cases, hundreds of units may be needed to save a single life.
