USDA to Provide Emergency Loans for Agricultural Producers

According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, several counties in Montana suffered from a drought intensity value during the growing season, making them eligible for emergency loans.

Primary counties eligible in Montana include Daniels, Garfield, McCone, Mineral, Missoula, Phillips, Roosevelt, Sanders, and Valley. However, contiguous counties are also eligible. These involve Blaine, Custer, Dawson, Fergus, Flathead, Granite, Lake, Lincoln, Petroleum, Powell, Prairie, Ravalli, Richland, Rosebud, and Sheridan counties.
