From those who stop for lunch at one of the tables to those who view the Airmen's Memorial, the Centennial Park located at the south end of Harlem near Highway 2 sees a variety of visitors. A touring couple recently handed a hundred dollars to one of the park's volunteer caretakers to replace what they described as "a rickety table."
