New Teacher Shares Vision about Social Studies

One of the new teachers at Turner Public School, Saige Koetter is currently teaching under an emergency certificate. Given that status, she does not yet hold a degree. However, she is attending the University of Montana to earn credentials in Secondary Education, specializing in Broadfield Social Studies and Broadfield Science (5-12).

Although her job in Turner is her first teaching position, Ms. Koetter has worked as a paraprofessional and has been working with youth since she graduated from high school in 2020.
