Sitting in a convertible driven by Matt Langford who represents Jamieson Motors, Homecoming King Carson Kelly and Homecoming Queen Kirbey Hofeldt wave to parade spectators as they cruise down Indiana Street in Chinook.
Chinook High School celebrated homecoming with a week of activities from September 15-20. The festivities began with hall decorations and culminated with sporting events. Winners were announced and royalty crowned.
According to Pep Club Advisor, Faith Hofman, each class chose a theme for hallway decorations from a list of more than thirty musicals. Based on that list, the freshmen selected Mean Girls, the sophomores chose Grease, the juniors decided upon Shrek, while the seniors preferred The Greatest Showman.
