We've Got The County Covered

Harlem Library

Did you know you can use your Harlem Public Library card to check out items at The Blaine County Library in Chinook & The Havre-Hill County Library in Havre? As long as you are in good standing, go browse their collections!

Also, have you thanked your county commissioners or library board members lately? A lot of their job goes unrecognized and unappreciated, so I’d just like to take the time to mention Shane Fox, Miles Hutton, Delores Plumage, Jackie Blackbird, Teresa Cornell, Libby Kuntz, Sandy Miller, and Lori Owens. And if you see them around, thank them for serving our communities! (And if being on the board is something you’re interested in, please reach out!).

There was a small snafu in the original book we had planned to read for Book Club, so this week, members may pick up the current read, Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus. The first discussion will take place Monday, October 20th, at 4:00 pm.

Please mark your calendars for the Friends Open Membership Meeting and soup supper, to take place at the library on Wednesday, October 22nd. We need more members all around! And since we showed appreciation to our Boards of Trustees and our County Commissioners, lets give our Friends of the Library Board some, too. Thank you Teresa Cornell, Eva English, Amber Harris, Jim Kobeski, Libby Kuntz, Ethel Moore, Louise Nissen, Sally O’Leary, Candus Scheffelmaer, Helen Schroeder, Patsy Shelhamer, & Valerie Van Voast.
