Sharon O'Brien Powell

Sharon O'Brien Powell was born September 26, 1935, to James and Minnie O'Brien. She passed away February 17, 2026, at Northern Montana Care Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Powell. Sharon is survived by her cousin, Mary Gail; her sons, Michael Powell and Jaydee Powell (Joann); her grandson, Garrett Powell (Cassie); and her great-grandchildren, Garrisen, Gracie, and Celie.

Sharon loved life on the ranch, hauling neighboring kids to country school, and traveling to Arizona in the motor home with her husband. She never missed a demolition derby or a ball game for her grandson and great-grandson, sitting through snow, rain, and blazing heat to cheer them on. Even for the last derby she was able to attend, Sharon was brought from the care center and carried into the grandstands in her wheelchair. She was ornery, loyal, and deeply loved her family and friends.
