Mill Levies Pass by a Landslide

After a first counting of votes following the Chinook School Elections and Levy on Tuesday, May 5, school district officials reported unofficial results last week. The outcome not only saw Kevin Elias, Frank Billmayer, and Josiah Sanders elected to the School Board of Trustees but suggest that all three levies passed.

Of the three candidates on the ballot in the Chinook School Board Trustee Election for two vacant positions, Kevin Elias secured 381votes, Frank Billmayer collected 269, and Shelby Nemetz acquired 145.
