Havre Lions Volunteers Stay Busy With April Projects

Havre Lions finished up a busy April. On Saturday April 4, 16 lions gathered at Northern Montana Boys and Girls Club to form almost 200 feet of curbing. The following weekend April 11, 18 Lions gathered to pour the curbing and sidewalks, pouring 6.5 yards of concrete.

Throughout April, 10 Havre Lions went out 2 at a time to do eye screening with Bear Paw Cooperative. They tested in 6 different counties and 11 different towns, from Hinsdale to Chester and south to Big Sandy, and collectively driving around 900 miles. They tested a total of 326 children with 28 referrals
