A large crowd attended a ceremony Monday, April 27, at the Hill County Courthouse lawn in observance of Memorial Day, American Legion Riders Post 11 Road Captain Alice Hauge said.
Local residents joined members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion, Legion Auxiliary, Legion Riders and Sons of the American Legion and local Boy Scouts for the ceremony.
The ceremonies continued afterward at the Havre Elks Club, with a soup luncheon and included a Prisoners of War table and an honoring of Scout-of-the -Year Chloe Corner....
