Mike Hoefeldt

Mike Hofeldt of Helena passed away of natural causes on April 29th, 2026. Mike was born October 26th, 1949, to Bill and Alva (Porky) Hofeldt in Havre, MT. He graduated from Chinook High School, then spent 3 years in the Army. Serving in Vietnam and being awarded several medals including the bronze star and air medals. After his service, Mike Graduated from Northern Montana College with a Bachelor's degree in business education, Mike then worked for the Montana Department of Revenue for over 30 years.

Mike was married to Betty Gardipee on June 9th, 1970 and raised a family of three sons.

Mike loved to run and exercise and completed 25 marathons, He qualified and participated the Boston Marathon in 1999.
