Milk River Churches worshippers gathered after their June 14 Sunday joint service at the American Lutheran Church in Chinook and created 'birthday bags' for distribution at the Chinook Food Bank. The bags will go to clients to provide basic birthday party supplies for children under twelve years of age. Kayla Hudon, a member of the Chinook American Lutheran Church, got approval from Food Pantry workers to offer the birthday bags and submitted a grant proposal to the Thrivent Action Teams program.
