Mercer is anticipating working with a pre-school program being started by her church back home and Griffin will begin seminary training at Columbia Seminary in Decatur, Georgia in the fall.
Mercer Phlegar and Griffin Monson-Hudson will be leaving Chinook in a few days. The four local churches that help support the program are hosting a 10am "Farewell Fellowship" at Wallner Hall on Thursday, July 2. Coffee and refreshments will be served. It has been tradition for the supporting churches to host some sort of a farewell send off for each group of YAVs.
