I’m not into numerology, but Biblically speaking, the number 40 holds particular significance in the scriptures. It rained for 40 days and 40 nights during the flood of Noah’s time. God’s people spent 40 years in the wilderness before the next generation could cross the Jordan and finally enter into the land God had promised to them.
