Montana State University–Northern has received a $99,612 award from the National Science Foundation (NSF) Earth Sciences Division to enhance hands-on learning in its geology, environmental science, archaeology and agriculture courses through the purchase of modern laboratory and field equipment that will provide students with new opportunities for research, technical training, and career preparation.
