Temptation lures us into wanting, craving something that we shouldn’t have --- for fame, fortune, wisdom, or pleasure. Temptation never delivers on its promise. Rather, it deceives you and gives you something else. Most often the state you are left in after succumbing to temptation is worse than the state that you were trying to escape. If you are not careful, the vicious cycle will continue. So let’s learn what leads to temptation and how to stand against it, or better yet, how to avoid it from the start.
